Test Infrastructure

The majority of Nordugrid testing infrastructure is concentrated around our main test portal (arc-emi.grid.upjs.sk) running in Kosice. This test portal is offering following services:

Information Index services

Currently our testing infrastructure is running following Information Index Services

EGIIS with endpoint ldap://arc-emi.grid.upjs.sk:2135/O=Grid/Mds-Vo-Name=ARC-TESTBED
EMIR with endpoint http://arc-emi.grid.upjs.sk:9126/services

Testbed

There is an autodeploy test machine (autodeploy.grid.upjs.sk) that runs with the latest working revision build built in Kosice and hosts the following ARC services:
- EMI-ES compute
- ARC gridftpjob CE
- ARC SE (gridftp storage)
- authorized groups: ARC community, NorduGrid VO

There is a test machine that is deploying EPEL-Test in auto-update mood and monitored via ARC Nagios.

The services that are running on the machine are:

- EMI-ES compute
- ARC gridftpjob CE
- ARC SE (gridftp storage)
- only the Nagios tester authorized

There are physical machines (pgs02, pgs03) running the latest stable ARC version taken from EPEL or NorduGrid repo

The services that are running on the machine are:

- EMI-ES compute
- ARC gridftpjob CE
- ARC SE (gridftp storage)
- these two "production testing" CEs send their job records to APEL-Testing with JURA
- authorized groups: ARC community, NorduGrid VO

There are further virtual machines that can be run on demand with the required operating system (e.g. testbed7 runs now Debian)
- available operating systems are Debian6/64bit and SL6/64bit
- virtual machines run PBS/Torque as LRMS

Nagios Monitoring

arc-emi.grid.upjs.sk additionally hosts the Nagios monitoring service that is using ARC nagios probes for monitoring ARC resources. One can request to add his/her resources for monitoring by our Nagios by filling html form from http://arc-emi.grid.upjs.sk/nagios.php . The page additionally includes information on how to obtain the read-only access to our Nagios monitoring portal.

Instant CA

additional service running on arc-emi.grid.upjs.sk is Instant CA service offering generation of demo user and host certificates that can be used for testing our middleware without official user/host certificates.

Automatic SVN commit build tests

After each commit to nordugrid/arc1/trunk the code`s integrity is verified by running autogen/configure/make/make check/make dist commands and the results for each revision are available over http://arc-emi.grid.upjs.sk/revisionTests.php
