Using Legacy ARC
First, legacy plugins have to be installed.
yum install nordugrid-arc-plugins-globus
or
apt-get install nordugrid-arc-plugins-globus
Second, the rule is that you have to use ARC0: prefix and provide the root LDAP entry for the cluster you want to use.
arcsub -c ARC0:ldap://ce03.titan.uio.no:2135/mds-vo-name=local,o=grid
For index services it would be:
ARC0:ldap://ce03.titan.uio.no:2135/mds-vo-name=<index_name>,o=grid
Everything else is like usual. You can even arcls with usual URLs you used to from legacy ARC:
arcls gsiftp://ce03.titan.uio.no:2811
